9/21/2017 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM Eastern Standard Time

Presenter: John Reisinger, CPA Principal, Innovative Financial Solutions for Home Health

*This education session is approved for one (1) contact hour of Continuing Education for Nursing

CMS broached the idea of implementing a new reimbursement system beginning in 2019, in the 2018 HH PPS Proposed Rule.  This is the most significant change proposed to home health reimbursement since the inception of PPS back in 2000.  This webinar series covers the significant changes from a financial and operational perspective of the Proposed Home Health PPS Rule for 2018.

In the second of a three-part series, the focus is on the Home Health Groupings Model (HHGM) – which will radically change all things reimbursement for the home health industry and it is projected to reduced HH spending in 2019 alone by up to $950 million.  We will also discuss how the industry can fight this change through participation in the Rule-Making Process to help minimize the impact and/or postpone its implementation.
