The new focus by Medicare on outcomes and Value Based Purchasing makes is more important than ever to properly evaluate patient’s current level of function. How the questions are answered effects all facets of care and determines the metric performance of the agency. Data derived from the initial and discharge documents will determine how well the agency performed in key result areas such as compliance, clinical outcomes, audit risk, financial performance, and the new Medicare outcome measures. About the Educator 

Chad Whitefield, PTA is the managing partner at Advance Rehabilitation Management Group (ARMG), a national consulting, staffing, and management company specializing in rehabilitation services within homecare, acute care, and outpatient companies. Chad also was a founder of Advance Rehabilitation Physical Therapy which is part of USPH, a publicly traded rehabilitation company with over 400 offices.
