Wound Management for Home Health - Do you need a Wound Expert?

4/27/2017 2:00 PM - 3:15 PM Eastern Standard Time

Presenter(s): Katherine Piette and Myra Varnado, Corstrata

Chronic wounds represent a huge challenge for post-acute care providers in terms of associated clinical and financial outcomes. Board certified wound clinicians are experts at treating and managing wounds and fistulas and can significantly impact both the quality and cost of patient care not to mention minimizing regulatory and legal associated risks. Wound care clinicians are scarce and expensive resources and therefore investment in them requires a thorough analysis of the return on investment.  Myra Varnado and Katherine Piette of Corstrata are the educators for this session.
